My husband and I stayed in Mar's house for approximately 2 months and we were honestly blown away by his gorgeous rental property. Mar's house greatly exceeded all of our expectations and was perfect for our long term stay. We can't recommend this house enough!
THE HOUSE: the pictures on airbnb don't do this house justice - it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL inside and out! The hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, Edison bulb lighting, landscaping, back porch, and large windows truly make this house a work of art. It is clear that the architect and builder really put thought into every detail of this house. We loved toasting marshmallows in the backyard firepit and reading books while resting on the hammock on the porch.

This is hands-down the best Air BnB we’ve ever stayed in. Our family of four stayed at Mar’s gorgeous nad magical house for two nights and relished every moment. This beautifully designed and impeccably maintained place is the very last house on a forested dirt road—hence the name, “Casa Por Fin.” It looks west over the cloud forest clear out to the ocean. As much as we enjoyed hiking and exploring Monteverde, we were just as happy to sit in the all-wooden interior and stare out the floor-to-ceiling glass windows at the view, or do yoga or hang a hammock on the porch, or enjoy the fire-pit outside…We felt like we were floating in the clouds. Nature abounds: families of white-faced monkeys, coatis, hummingbirds. There’s a lovely little trail through the rainforest around the property, which leads down to a small stream and waterfall. The house is elegantly laid out and tastefully furnished; everything you need to be comfortable, but spare enough so that you can really appreciate the home’s design. We wish we could have stayed longer and look forward to returning. Thanks, Mar

My wife and I spent 3 nights in this wonderful place and I wish we had more time to hang there. Stylish, comfortable, spacious house on the top of the hill with the stunning landscape you can enjoy from the porch, sipping your coffee. There’s a camp fireplace outside as a great cozy feature , a lot of funky animals and birds will keep you company time to time. Nothing scary or dangerous anyway, just some coatis or armadillos. This house is the best decision in our trip!
